Kuidas valida õige toiteallikas?
Tavaliselt on alalisvoolu (DC) toiteparameetrid märgitud sülearvuti all olevale kleebisele pärast märget INPUT

  • Toiteallika pinge V (voltides) peaks vastama sigaretile märgitud väärtusele
  • Voolutugevus A (amprites) peaks olema võrdne või suurem kui sülearvutile antud väärtus, see parameeter tähendab maksimaalset voolutugevust, mida toiteallikasse saab laadida, koormuse suurus määrab sülearvuti
  • Võimsus W (vattides) on pinge ja voolutugevuse korrutise tulemus
  • Pistiku kuju ja suurus - võrdle seda pakkumise pildiga ja kirjelduses antud pistiku mõõtmetega; saame seda määrata ka toiteallika tootja andmebaasi põhjal
