The Newell MB-D10 is a robust, full-featured battery pack for the Nikon D300, D300s and D700 cameras. The grip provides a better grip on the camera, improves handling comfort when shooting upright and extends battery life without having to change batteries in the camera. Robust construction and the highest quality materials used in the manufacture of the grip mean that the product will last for years. The grip has been contoured to provide the greatest possible comfort when shooting both horizontally and vertically. It is covered with a durable and tactile rubber material for a comfortable and secure grip. Two cages are included to allow the camera to be powered by an additional EN-EL3e battery or eight AA batteries. On the underside of the grip is a 1/4" female tripod mount, allowing the use of a photographic tripod without removing the grip from the camera. The grip has the full functionality of the Nikon MB-D10 system tray: a two-stage shutter button, an on/off switch, two setting wheels, a joystick and a function button. Pressing the shutter release button lightly allows you to focus, pressing it all the way down triggers the shutter just like the button on the camera itself.
