More precise autofocus
Created in collaboration with professional photographers, the autofocus (AF) tracking system is more precise than ever. The algorithm proven with the E-M1X now also ensures the E-M1 Mark II provides accurate focusing even with difficult mixed perspectives. Your videos also enjoy improved AF performance thanks to active use of on-chip phase detection information. Low-contrast subjects and dark scenes are likewise no match for the high-precision focusing.

Higher image quality
The Low ISO Processing technology delivers the high resolution and details you want when shooting in bright environments. With high ISO, when shooting in dark environments, noise is reduced by approximately one-third compared to the previous update - to provide excellent nighttime shots.

Better video recording
When shooting movies, the lighting conditions can easily change. This is no problem for the E-M1 Mark II with firmware 3.0. Thanks to log shooting with OM-Log, you can record videos without loss of details in shadows or highlight blowouts - giving you greater video creativity through colour grading.
