Stacja dokująca Y-3027 pozwala na szybkie podłączenie dysków do komputera.
Podłączona do komputera za pośrednictwem portu USB3.1 umożliwia transfer danych z prędkością do 10 Gbps. Wyposażona jest w 2 zatoki do dysków. Można do niej podłączać wszystkie rodzaje dysków SATA: 2,5", 3,5", talerzowe, SSD - o wszelkich pojemnościach. Zaprojektowana została do pracy z dyskami o dużej pojemności.Jest idealnym urządzeniem dla osób, które potrzebują szybkiego dostępu do danych oraz narzędzia do szybkiego ich przetwarzania i powielania w takich procesach jak produkcja materiałów video i backup. Jest też wygodnym rozwiązaniem przy aplikacjach wymagających częstej zmiany dysków - łatwość ich instalacji zmniejsza ryzyko awarii.

Stacja umożliwia proste tworzenie kopii danych pomiędzy dyskami, w trybie offline, poprzez naciśnięcie przycisku na obudowie.
 Klonowanie offline odbywa się bez udziału komputera z prędkością do 550 MB/s. Bardzo szybka: skopiowanie 128GB danych pomiędzy dyskami SSD zajmuje około 4 minut i 15 sekund. Diody sygnalizacyjne znajdujące się na froncie stacji informują o postępie oraz zakończeniu procesu. Na obu dyskach jednocześnie mogą być przeprowadzane operacje odczytu i zapisu danych
Urządzenie stanowi ciekawe rozwiązanie dla małych firm chcących archiwizować swoje dane komputerowe nie inwestując w kosztowne rozwiązanie NAS.

Stacja Y-3027 jest także odtwarzaczem video - po podłączeniu bezpośrednio do telewizora można usiąść wygodnie na kanapie i oglądać.
Wykonana z aluminium, świetnie prezentuje się na każdym biurku, szczególnie jeśli obok niej stoi aluminiowy ultrabook. Aby stała stabilnie od spodu wyposażono ją w gumowe nóżki, a w zestawie dołożono przykrywkę chroniącą przed kurzem gdy nie jest używana. Po prostu zadbano o każdy detal.
