WHAT IS SILK’N GOSLEEK IR?
Silk’n GoSleek IR is a brand-new straightener with infrared technology. Thanks to the 5 different temperature settings and its ceramic-coated plates, Silk’n GoSleek IR is suitable for thin to thick, chemically treated and damaged hair. The straightener is also very easy to use. The swivel cord ensures that you can reach everywhere easily and the device is comfortable to hold. CERAMIC COATING: FAST AND SAFE STYLING!
Many different types of straighteners are available today. The plate material has a great influence on the final result. Ceramic-coated plates are super smooth, so your hair doesn’t get caught, knotted or damaged when styling it. This considerably reduces the amount of time spent straightening your hair. Furthermore, they protect your hair from the heat and distribute it evenly. The upper ‘floating’ plate also gives you a better grip on your hair. In short, the key formula for a fast, straight and shiny finish!
MORE SHINE AND PROTECTION THANKS TO INFRARED TECHNOLOGY
Silk’n GoSleek IR uses infrared technology. This has several advantages. In principle, a straightener with this technology works like an infrared sauna - the hair is heated very evenly and from the inside out. This deeper penetration helps maintain the hair’s natural moisture balance to prevent it drying out for maximum shine and softness. At the same time, the outer layers of the hair (the cuticles) are better protected: no direct heat is applied, making it an excellent choice for dry, damaged and chemically treated hair. Furthermore, a straightener that uses infrared works faster than other types of straighteners. So you can save a lot of time too!
PTC HEATING
PTC heating stands for Positive Temperature Coefficient. This type of heating generates fast and energy-efficient heat transfer, enabling GoSleek IR to reach a temperature of 130oC in 30 seconds and 210oC in 2.5 minutes. This technology also ensures that the device cools down quickly, preventing overheating and guaranteeing higher safety levels. This benefits the lifespan of the device.
THE RIGHT TEMPERATURE FOR EVERY HAIR TYPE
Silk’n GoSleek IR has 5 temperature settings, from 130 to 210oC. This means that the straightener can be used for many different hair types. Fine, damaged and chemically treated hair is best straightened at the lowest possible temperature, so between 130 and 150oC. Normal hair can be treated at a temperature between 170 and 190oC. If you have thick, coarse and/or curly hair, you can set the temperature at 210oC.
