Swobodny wybór ustawienia ramienia (co przy dłuższym poszukiwaniu może być bardzo pomocne) i regulowana długość drążka. Nieduża waga wykrywacza pozwala z niego korzystać każdemu niezależnie od wieku. Wodoodporna sonda wykrywacza pozwala na szukanie przedmiotów pod wodą. Możliwość składania i rozkładania co znacznie ułatwia przenoszenie urządzenia.
