Wykonana z wytrzymałego szkła hartowanego pokrytego gustowną i estetyczną fotofolią, która uprzyjemni proces ważenia się. Elektroniczna waga osobowa BS-973 została zaopatrzona w wyraźny wyświetlacz LCD, potrafi dokonać samo-kalibracji, a ponadto jest zasilana wyłącznie pojedynczą baterią litową CR2032 i zaopatrzona we wskaźniki przeciążenia, stanu baterii i alarmu błędu pomiarowego.
