Võimalik mõõta temperatuuri suu all (suu kaudu) või kaenla alt (aksillaarne mõõtmine). Pärasoole (ehk rektaalne) mõõtmine peaks olema vajalik ainult imikute puhul, kellel on ebaühtlane aksillaarne mõõtmine. Seade on väga tundlik ja salvestab mõõtmistulemused kiiresti. Lugemisaeg on umbes 60 sekundit. Termomeeter lülitub automaatselt välja umbes 10 minuti pärast, kui see on pärast mõõtmist sisse jäänud. Väike ja kerge seade. Universaalne kasutamine kogu perele, ideaalne lastele. Võrreldes katkiste elavhõbedatermomeetritega ei kaasne ABS vaigule põhinev taastamine mingit riski.
