The new PocketBook InkPad 3 was created to bring absolute comfort and excellent user experience for those, who are in love with reading. The 7.8-inch E Ink Carta™ display with 300 DPI creates a realistic impression of reading a classic paper book, whiles the number of high-end features of the e-reader allows to push the borders. Modern characteristics of the screen guarantee a sharp typeface and real pleasure for the eyes without fatigue even after hours of reading.

Get more than you expect
SMARTligh technology allows attuning not only brightness, but also the colour temperature of the frontlight. In automatic mode, SMARTlight offers the best option of light intensity and temperature, taking into account the time of day and human biorhythms.

PocketBook InkPad 3 gives new opportunity to create daily frontlight templates, assigning the settings for any hour of a day depending on the schedule and personal preferences. A convenient tuning scale displays 24 hours of the day, and allows easily set any dynamics and colour temperature of the lighting on any time of a day. It is possible to create an unlimited number of such daily frontlight templates, and give them names. The user can easily switch from one template to another, depending on the plans for a day.

Enjoy reading, keep listening
The new e-reader supports MP3 format via micro USB adapter. For auser it means not only convenient opportunity to listen to music while reading, but also enjoying audiobooks. Moreover, Pocketbook InkPad 3 supports Text-to-Speech function, which converts text into spoken voice. Just choose a book and switch on Text-to-Speech and the e-reader will read aloud any text file in any of the supported formats.

Refined design, perfect ergonomics
PocketBook InkPad 3 pioneering the new PocketBook design concept. The refined design ably combines the opposites – smooth rounded corners and sharp edges, soft-touch parts of housing and glossy buttons. All the elements of the e-reader harmoniously emphasize each other’s elegance and perfectly merge into one.

The large size along with the record low weight of only 210 g makes PocketBook InkPad 3 great companion for impeccably comfortable reading anywhere – at home and office, outdoors and traveling. The device with dimensions of 195 x 136.5 mm is only 8 mm thin. On the front, there are ergonomic paging buttons, which may be used most conveniently together with the touchscreen of the device. Due to the inbuilt g-sensor the user can choose the most convenient way to hold the e-reader – in vertical or бhorizontal position.

All in one for even more opportunities
A productive Dual Core (2×1 GHz) processor and 1 GB RAM guarantee perfectly smooth paging, provide quick response and stable work of any application. With 8 GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot (up to 32 GB) the e-reader can store user’s digital library of more than 2000 books, which you may read in 17 popular book formats without converting, as well as view any files in JPEG, BMP, PNG or TIFF graphic formats.

With the built-in Wi-Fi and easy to use services as Dropbox, Send-to-PocketBook, PocketBook Sync and PocketBook Cloud, a user can quickly download any content without connecting it to a PC. PocketBook InkPad 3 initially contains 97 preinstalled free e-books in 14 languages, including 7 in German and 8 in English. The preinstalled Abbyy Lingvo® dictionaries allow to read and translate, using 24 language combinations. A built-in cover sensor allows putting the e-reader into sleep mode by closing the cover, thus using the battery even more effectively.
