Shogun 7 - Incredible HDR
The Shogun 7 is an HDR monitor, recorder and switcher in one and records in ProRes RAW up to 4Kp60 and 2K 240p, the latter being ideal for super slow motion recording. It offers one HDMI input, four SDI inputs, one HDMI output and one SDI output and is the ideal tool for events, documentaries, TV/film/cinema productions and other professional video applications thanks to its countless features.

Live Multi-Cam
In addition to monitoring/recording, the unit also offers the option of switching between 4 live HD SDI video streams and one programme stream.
The Shogun 7 offers up to HDp60 SDI ISOs x 4 recording. Once the recording is complete, the Atomos xml file can be loaded into the NLE and immediately the timeline fills with all edits. For each ISO and programme recording, the mixed analogue stereo channels and embedded 2-channel digital audio are inserted into each recorded stream.

HDR Display with 360 zones Backlight
The 7" display is a unique combination of LED and LCD technology, offering deeper blacks than comparable OLED displays while still boasting higher brightness and more vivid colours. The Shogun 7 offers a dynamic range of 15+ stops, a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, 3000nit brightness and covers 105% of the DCI-P3 colour space.

Dolby Vision HDR
With the help of Dolby Vision, the image can be transferred in real time via HDMI from an SDI or HDMI HDR camera to any Dolby Vision-capable TV or monitor. AtomOS automatically adjusts the colour profile and brightness of the TV, so the optimal, undistorted HDR image is always shown on the display.

AtomOS - Functions, Tools, Settings
AtomOS 10 offers a touch user interface that makes all settings, functions and tools easy to access. The Shogun enables instant playback, slow motion, frame-by-frame analysis, SDR playback and much more.

ProRes RAW - The best of RAW and ProRes combined
The Shogun 7 records in ProRes RAW, offering the highest level of control over the video footage while maintaining the best possible quality. The maximum dynamic range, colour accuracy and detail are preserved exactly, making it very easy to edit the video footage in post-production. The Shogun 7 supports ProRes RAW, ProRes, CinemaDNG (up to 30p) and DNxHD formats.

Balanced Audio
No separate audio recorder is needed anymore: simply connect a 48V stereo microphone via a balanced XLR breakout cable (not included), select Mic or Input Levels and record up to 12 channels of digital audio from HDMI or SDI. The recorded stereo can be reviewed via the 3.5mm headphone jack. There are dedicated levels, gain controls and picture delay settings.

Connect 2 - Convert, Connect, Stream
Convert, connect, stream - the Connect 2 from Atomos is a true all-rounder! Connect 2 stands for a compact but powerful streaming solution. Content can be easily shared via popular streaming platforms such as Twitch, YouTube or Zoom. HDMI output is converted to USB for streaming to your PC or Mac. Output and stream 4K (up to 30p), HD (up to 60p) or 720p (up to 60p) video signals from any HDMI source directly to your PC or laptop at the appropriate resolution and frame rate up to a maximum of 1080p60.

7" Accessory Kit
The Atomos Accessory Kit contains everything you need for a complete workflow with your Shogun 7 monitor/recorder. The kit includes two 5200 mAh batteries, a quick charger, a USB docking station, a D-Tap power cable and power supply, four Master Caddy IIs and a sun visor. A hard-shell flight case to store and transport your monitor and all accessories is also included.
