Benchmade 9400BK Auto Osborne is an automatic version of one of the most popular Benchmade knives, which uses a CPM-30V powder steel blade , light anodized aluminum cladding and a double locking mechanism.

Premium grade steel
The knife has a satinised 86 mm long blade made ofAmerican CPM-S30V stainless steel .

S30V powder steel by Crucible Industries is hardened to an optimal hardness of 58-60 HRC , therefore it maintains high sharpness for a long time, has high mechanical strength, and is also resistant to corrosion.

Due to the high content of vanadium carbides, the steel is distinguished by high toughness and abrasion resistance, as well as excellent cutting properties . The blade is covered with a layer of black Teflon, which protects the blade from minor scratches.
