27U, 600 x 800 mm single-section, free-standing ICT network cabinet FF55 series, grey with an IP55 rating is designed for use in outdoor areas particularly exposed to weather conditions, where it is expected to provide adequate protection of the devices mounted inside against the influence of adverse factors such as: - Small objects, - Dust and other small particles, - Water. The device is a dedicated solution for the water, gas, electrical, and telecommunication industry sectors, including installation of ICT networks, cabling, and 19" rackmount equipment. The FF55 series is designed for indoor and outdoor use, e.g., inside industrial plants and factories, processing facilities, manufacturing halls, workshops, assembly stations, warehouses, server rooms, and laboratories. Its cost-efficiency and minimalistic design are directed mainly to users who expect a simplified solution but do not expect to expand it with non-standard equipment such as cooling or heating. Following EN 60529 standard, the device provides an IP55 rating, meaning: 1) As per the first digit - 5: - The Rack cabinet provides protection against entry of hazardous parts by means of wire: a probe with a diameter of 1.0 mm does not penetrate inside. - The product provides protection against foreign objects' access: partial protection against dust (its permeable quantity cannot interfere with the proper functioning of the equipment or reduce its safety). 2) As per the second digit - 5: - The Rack cabinet provides a level of protection against the harmful effects of water penetration: a splash (12.5 l/min +- 5%) on the cabinet from any direction (while maintaining the intended use of the device) does not cause harmful effects with a minimum of 3 minutes. A summary of the most important features: - Height: 27U (total 1479 mm), - Width: 600 mm, - Length: 800 mm, - Maximum operating/mounting depth: 687.2 mm (adjustable by 11 offsets of 20 mm at the front and rear), - 2 horizontal rails on the sides to adjust the depth of the vertical mounting rails, - Fixed 4 numbered vertical mounting rails, - Construction material: high quality, production-grade (SPCC) cold-rolled steel, - Single-layer welded structure for better stability, - The plinth (100 mm high) is integrated into the cabinet and has vents on each side and 4 breakable blanking panels as cable entries, - The ceiling panel contains 4 fans (120 x 120 mm) connected with a thermostat and an IEC C14 outlet (194 V ~ 240 V). There are holes at the front and back of the top panel to circulate the air pumped by the upper fans, - The floor panel contains 12 fan slots (120 x 120 mm) with dust filters and 4 cable entries in the form of 80 mm rubber covers, - Front & back door: made of steel, solid, single-winged with grounding and the option to rotate above 120°, equipped with a fully covering elastic rubber gasket, fixed code lock (3-digit) with rotating lever and keys and a guide lock on 2 metal hinges, - Both doors open in one direction only (alternating depending on the side), - Surface finish: RAL7035, surface degreased, etched, parkerized, powder coated, - Grounding: Wires for grounding between the door and the cabinet structure are included, - Frame static load capacity: up to 1000 kg, - Degree of protection (according to EN 60529): IP55, - Compliant with standards: RACK, IP, LVD, EMC, and RoHS (declarations can be found on the manufacturer's website). Thermostat specifications: - Housing: plastic (ABS), - Degree of protection (according to EN 60529): IP20, - Storage and operating temperature: -50*C ~ 80*C, - Storage and operating humidity: 20% ~ 85% without condensation, - Power supply: integrated in the ventilation panel (194 V ~ 240 V @ 10 A), - Sensor type: thermistor (NTC), - Adjustable temperature range: 0*C ~ 60*C, - Switchover temperature difference (hysteresis): 7K (+- 4K tolerance), - Temperature tolerance: +- 2*C, - Contact: NO, normally open (NO), closing, snap action, - Resistance: < 10 m2, - Connections: 2 pole terminals 2.5mm2 (AWG 14), - Lifetime: > 100,000 cycles.
