With the AXP-100RH, Thermalright presents a slightly revised version of the compact HTPC cooler. The slightly increased height ensures that the cooler also fits the current models of Mini-ITX motherboards without colliding with voltage converters or RAM. The feature of this cooler is the flat height of just 51 mm (or 65 mm including the fan). The AXP-100RH is still a good choice where the most compact dimensions are particularly important. The AXP 100RH is therefore perfect for home cinema/multimedia systems with a low housing height. The AXP-100RH uses the intelligent T-shaped "Down Draft" cooler design, which directs the airflow vertically onto the motherboard and thus also cools the surrounding components. In this way, the voltage converter, RAM and chipset are ideally cooled effectively. In total, the AXP-100RH has six nickel-plated 6 mm heat pipes that are firmly soldered to the copper base plate to achieve the most effective heat dissipation. The special design of the 40 aluminum slats serves to minimize air resistance and contributes to a particularly effective reduction in temperature. The standard “Enhanced Fan Mount” bracket allows the greatest possible flexibility when mounting the fan in order to make optimal use of the limited space available in HTPC cases. The bracket can be mounted rotated in 90° increments. The mounting holes of the frame on the cooler are slot-shaped, which allows the fan to be moved by approx. 15 mm in a horizontal or vertical direction - depending on the orientation of the fan mount.
