The Master C Stand is equipped with a patented spring ring locking system that releases all tension from the legs, allowing gravity to do the work. A turtle base is a term used in the industry to describe a stand where the riser section can be easily detached from the base for convenient transportation, and the base can be used with a stand adapter for lower mounting positions. The 20" Grip Arm with Hex Stud consists of a 2 1/2" grip head mounted on the end of a 20" steel tubing piece with a 5/8" (16mm) diameter, finished with a faceted hex stud to keep lighting fixtures securely in place. The tubing surface is carefully machined to create a rough texture for a non-slip grip. The 2 1/2" grip head includes rotating aluminum discs with four different sized V-shaped jaws to accommodate accessories with 5/8", 1/2", 3/8", or 1/4" mounting studs or tubing. The V-shaped jaws have teeth for secure mounting. The grip head features an oversized ergonomic T-handle and roller bearings for maximum torque. The set includes a 20" Master C-Stand with Turtle Base, One 2.5" Grip Head, and One 20" Grip Arm with a 5/8" hex stud for secure positioning of lighting fixtures. The base is five times stronger than aluminum and can be easily attached to the Kupo Runway Base for a sturdy rolling stand. The column is equipped with captive locking T-knobs.
