WHY BUY A TREADMILL?

Treadmills (which are sometimes referred to as jogging machines) offer the most natural style of exercise of all the items of cardiovascular equipment in the ZR range.Because they allow you to move ‘with’ the machine rather than against resistance, and they have the ability to deliver the widest range of ‘training methods’ including low intensity, heart rate control, H.I.I.T (High Intensity Interval Training), Fartlek, high impact and low impact walking, jogging and running.

WHAT MAKES A ZR SPECIAL? ZIGTECH!

The ZigTech cushioning we use in the ZR range is inspired by the ZigTech technology used in Reebok performance footwear.

Every time your foot connects with the ground during a run, a force similar, and in some cases greater than your body weight is transmitted back up through your lower body (this is classed as high impact). Managing that impact during exercise or training is important but not something that you want to think about so The ZR ‘deck’ takes care of all your cushioning needs when used in conjunction with appropriate fitness or running footwear.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The zig-shaped treadmill cushioning absorbs the impact of the heel striking the running deck and instantly disperses the shock wave along the length of the running surface. This provides enhanced shock absorption via the multi-point elastomers (think shock absorbers for your feet)! These support the runner and give increased comfort throughout the duration of the workout.

Many treadmills have just one area of cushioning – not the Reebok ZR series. The multi-point cushioning system is spread along the length of the running deck to deliver the appropriate impact management no matter what your walking, running or jogging style.

The Reebok ZR8 Treadmill has all the functional benefits of any compact treadmill, with the added feature of electronic incline control providing a seamless way to increase the difficulty of your workout. With a running deck of 126 x 41cm and maximum user weight of 120kg, the ZR8 has more than enough space for an effective workout. An integral part of our treadmills is the easy fold system which makes having a treadmill at home convenient and safe with the built in soft drop mechanism.

To offer a varied workout, the ZR8 has 24 pre-set workout programmes installed. Treadmill running can actually help you tone and strengthen muscles and cardiovascular health. For that extra challenge we also recommend integrating weights or dumbbells into your training, which also helps tone your arms - something often neglected during running.

Quick incline/speed control buttons, wide speed and incline range

The speed range in this treadmill is 1-16 km/h and it has 15 electronically adjusted incline levels, so you will be able to easily customize the workout to your needs, moreover, quick incline and speed control buttons will allow you to change the settings directly during your workout.

LED display, MP3 input and speakers

LED display helps you keep track of the number of functions including time, distance, calories and your heart rate, while MP3 input with speakers and a seperate volume control will allow you to listen to your favourite music as you workout.

Maximum user weight - 120 kg

the measurments of this trainer are 165 x 74 x 143 cm, so you will easily find a place for it, while a tough frame will bear the load up to 120 kg.

Foldable, Soft Drop system

After a workout the trainer can be folded and transported to another place with the help of wide transport wheels, moreover, Soft Drop system will ensure that you do not scratch the frame or hurt yourself while folding. Outstanding comfort and versatility.

Hand pulse

There are special pulse sensors on the handlebars, so you can track your pulse and adjust the workout in order to reach the best results.

ZigTech cushioning system

This innovative cushioning inspired by Reebok ZipTech technology is at the heart of the treadmill with multi-point cushioning at the front and middle of the running deck. The benefit of this is that the impact of every step is reduced to provide more comfortable run and reduce injury.
