Frequently Asked Questions:

Will the photos be processed before printing?

Color, brightness/darkness and contrast will be corrected by the lab operator. If the customer would like special edits and cropping, the fee is 0.49€ per minute.

What types of files can be printed?
Digilabs and ProLab dry labs support 8-bit sRGB/RGB spectrum JPG/JPEG and unpacked TIFF file formats. When ordering over the internet (via photoexpress.ee/en/ and pro.photoexpress.ee/en/), only JPG/JPEG files can be used.

What size should the file be?
The smallest acceptable file is 20 kB. The optimal file size depends on the photo that's being printed, you can find that in the "Sizes" tab.

Can photographic film be printed?
Color and black/white negatives that support the C-41 process (CN16 / CNK-4 / AP-70) can be printed at Photopoint.

Slide films (E-6, color reversal) can only be developed with chemicals meant for the C-41 process (cross processing), which delivers unexpected but unique results.

Can films be scanned?
Yes!

10×15cm (-36 exp) 1818x1228 pix with development – the price includes film development and scanning.
10x15cm (-36 exp) 1818x1228 pix, ordered together with development+photos – the service can be added in addition to film development, and the price includes only the price of scanning.
What size prints can be ordered at Photopoint?
Photopoint digilabs and dry labs can print photos in different sizes. The exact measurements of the paper and pixel counts are listed in the following table.

Photopoint digilabs' resolution is 300 dpi (dots per inch). Dry labs' resolution is 360 dpi.
Also consider the aspect ratio of the files and prints before ordering.
How can I receive my prints?
Prints ordered on the internet can be delivered to any Photopoint store, Omniva parcel machine, SmartPOST parcel machine, DPD Pakipood or by an Omniva courier to your home or a post office.
No additional fees will be added to your order when the prints are delivered to any Photopoint store. When ordering the prints to a parcel machine, to your home via a courier or to a post office, an additional charge for delivery will be added to your order according to the price list.
When will I receive my prints?
Orders made in a Photopoint store or on the internet that will be delivered to a Photopoint store, will be received according to the price list at the designated time.

Orders made via PhotoExpress Online that will be delivered to any other place than a Photopoint store (parcel machine, courier or post office), will be received in five days.

When will I receive my large format photo?
Large prints ordered to a Photopoint store via artprint.photopoint.ee before Wednesday, will arrive on Friday afternoon. Orders made after Wednesday will arrive at a Photopoint store next week on Friday afternoon.
Large prints ordered to your home by a courier via artprint.photopoint.ee will arrive in five days.

How long will ID photos take?
When having ID photos taken with ID Station at a Photopoint store, the photos will be ready right away. Corporate portraits will be ready right away too.
Can I have my picture taken for **** document?
ID photos and corporate portraits can be taken in every Photopoint store.

ID Station photos correspond to every official requirement (biometric passport, ID-card, driver's license, visas etc).

Corporate portraits are designed for CV-s, using on the web etc. They are taken on blue or white backgrounds.

How long will ID photos take?
When having ID photos taken with ID Station at a Photopoint store, the photos will be ready right away. Corporate portraits will be ready right away too.
Photopoint will only be liable when items that have been given to us for processing are destroyed, lost or ruined with the cost of the items. Photopoint will not compensate possible damages of destroyed or lost materials that are on a data carrier (photographic film, memory card, flash drive etc)
