You can read the basic parameters from the label located on the bottom of the laptop labeled as INPUT or on the rating plate of the original charger labeled as OUTPUT. These will be: POWER (W), VOLTAGE (V), CURRENT (A). The following points will dispel any doubts that may arise when choosing equipment:

1. POWER (W) - this number indicates the minimum value that the new charger should have. There's no harm in using a product with higher power. This will make it less burdened and therefore less likely to overheat.
