Allen & Heath ZEDi 10FX - Hybrid Compact Mixer

The Allen & Heath ZEDi 10FX is designed for musicians, podcasters and content creators who need a higher number of inputs and flexible routing options, while still preferring simple and direct operation. This compact mixer combines the familiar workflow of an analogue mixer with the versatility of an integrated USB audio interface. Thanks to its robust construction, clear control layout and wide range of connections, the ZEDi 10FX is suitable for home studios, mobile productions and small to medium live setups.

Analogue mixer and USB audio interface in one device
The ZEDi 10FX combines a classic analogue mixer with an integrated 24 bit / 96 kHz USB audio interface. Audio signals can be integrated directly into recording, streaming or playback environments without the need for an additional audio interface. Connection to PC or Mac is made via USB, and use with iOS devices is possible via the iOS Camera Kit. Thanks to advanced USB routing, the ZEDi 10FX is also suitable for more demanding recording and streaming setups.

More channels for flexible recording
The integrated USB interface works with 4 In / 4 Out and allows multitrack recording directly into a DAW. Multiple microphones, instruments and stereo sources can be recorded and played back at the same time. This makes the ZEDi 10FX ideal for small bands, interviews with several speakers or streaming setups with additional playback sources. Cubase LE for PC and Mac is included, and the Cubasis app for iOS is available free of charge.

Sound shaping for live and studio use
The ZEDi 10FX is equipped with high quality, low noise microphone preamps developed from the same design line as Allen & Heath touring consoles. The mono channels feature a MusiQ 3 band EQ, while the stereo channels offer a 2 band EQ. In addition, a low cut filter is available on the microphone inputs to reliably reduce low frequency noise in speech and vocals.

Flexible connections for stage and studio
With 4 microphone inputs, additional stereo channels, 2 Hi Z instrument inputs and aux sends (pre and post), the ZEDi 10FX offers a high level of flexibility for monitor mixes or external effects. Guitars and basses can be connected directly, and active speakers or PA systems via the XLR main outputs. Despite its extensive features, the mixer remains compact and easy to transport.
