This mixing console is designed for users who want to control several audio sources clearly while also integrating effects and computer audio. The clear channel layout supports quick setup and makes work easier during rehearsals, live performances or recordings. Thanks to the combination of analogue inputs and an integrated USB interface, the device suits different application scenarios. The controls are logically arranged and allow precise adjustments to the mix. This helps you keep control at all times, even with larger and more complex setups.

Flexible input for microphones and line signals
The ZED 16FX provides several mono and stereo channels that can be used for microphones, instruments and playback devices. The mono channels feature combined mic/line inputs with a wide gain range, allowing both quiet and loud sources to be adjusted cleanly. Line signals are processed via a separate low noise amplifier stage. A switchable high pass filter per mono channel helps reduce handling noise and low frequency interference, creating a clean sound right at the input stage.

Sound shaping and routing in detail
Each mono channel includes a 3 band EQ with sweepable mid frequencies for targeted sound shaping. The stereo channels are equipped with a 2 band EQ for quick corrections. Four aux sends are available for monitor and effect mixes: Aux 1-2 operate pre fader, Aux 3 and the FX send post fader. This allows flexible signal routing for different applications.

Integrated effects for direct use
The internal effects processor offers 16 presets, including reverb, delay and modulation effects. The effects are output in stereo and can be added to the mix via the FX send. Time based effects can be matched to the tempo using the TAP button, with basic parameters adjustable directly on the unit. An optional footswitch allows the effect signal to be muted when needed, making the mixing console suitable for live use with changing requirements.

USB connection and compact design
The integrated USB interface allows audio to be exchanged directly with a computer. The connection works as a bidirectional stereo interface (2 In / 2 Out) and supports sample rates up to 48 kHz at 16 bit. This makes recording or playback of audio material possible without an additional audio interface. Despite the extended channel count, the case remains portable. The device can be expanded with an optional rack mount kit.
