Noris Battleships järgib traditsioonilist laevade paiknemisel ja vastase laevade avastamisel põhinevat loogikamängu: mõlemad mängijad paigutavad oma „laevastiku“ nähtamatult ruudustikule ja üritavad vastase laevu samade koordinaatide hüüdnimega tabada. Võitja on see, kes suudab vastase laevad esimese hulga seast üles leida ja „tappa“. Lihtne reeglistik teeb mängu kiirelt mängitavaks.


Keskmised mängijaoskused ja mängukogemus

Mäng rõhutab strateegilist mõtlemist, jälgimist ja loogilist järeldamist. Kuna tegemist on kahe mängijaga kahjulise mänguga, kujuneb igast voorust intensiivne peamurdmine, kus otsused mõjutavad edasist ruudustiku kontrolli.
