Carcassonne on maailmakuulus lauamäng, mis on võitnud mitmeid auhindu ja on tuntud oma strateegilise sügavuse ja lihtsa mängumehaanika poolest. Mäng on inspireeritud Lõuna-Prantsusmaal asuvast Carcassonne'i linnast, mis on tuntud oma keskaegsete kindluste ja linnamüüride poolest. Mängijad võtavad endale ehitajate rolli, kes loovad maastikku, ehitavad linnu, kloostreid, teid ja põlde.
