USB 2.0 active extension cable, 20m, Y-279 black

Connect the USB device to 20 meters +
The active Unitek Y-279 extension cord allows you to connect USB 2.0 devices at 20 meters or more. It is possible thanks to the amplifier mounted in the cable. The Unitek Y-279 was made from the finest materials to ensure optimum performance. The cable was made of 100% copper and premium chipsets were used. Thanks to compatibility with the USB 2.0 standard, the amplifier enables transfer with speeds up to 480Mbps.

Better LTE, DVB-T signal
An active extension cord is often used to improve the LTE or DVB-T signal. We usually have a notebook or computer at the desk, which can be separated from the window, which usually has the strongest range. By placing the LTE or DVB-T modem by the window, it can be connected to a remote computer using Unitek Y-279.

Additional power supply
The USB plug is double. For most applications, it is enough to connect the main plug. However, if a 0.5A current normally transmitted by USB 2.0 turns out to be too weak, thanks to the additional plug, we are able to provide additional power up to 1A. This is useful for users who connect power-hungry devices such as an external HDD.
