Varjestus ja signaalikvaliteet

S/FTP konstruktsioon tähendab üldist punutist koos iga paariga eraldi fooliumvarjestusega, mis vähendab nii välist elektromagnetilist häiringut kui ka paaridevahelist ristmüra. Cat6 standardi sagedusulatus (kuni umbes 250 MHz) teeb kaabli sobivaks 10/100/1000BASE-T võrkudele, tagades stabiilse andmeedastuse ja madalama veamäära.
