Thunderbolt 4 võimaldab edastada videomaterjali üle USB‑C liidese, toetades korraga mitme ekraani ühendamist — kuni kahe 4K ekraani või ühe 8K ekraani konfiguratsioonid on võimalikud vastavalt seadmete ja hosti võimekusele. Laadimine ja võimsus

Kaabel toetab USB Power Delivery profiile ning võimaldab kuni 100 W (20 V ⨉ 5 A) laadimist, kui nii host kui ka ühendatav seade seda toetavad. See tähendab, et sama kaabliga võib laadida sülearvutit ja samal ajal edastada andmeid ning video't (kui seadmed toetavad samaaegset toimimist).
