USB-C

The CL-208 cable is an incredibly versatile tool that connects the mobile world with professional screens. It is equipped with a USB-C plug (Universal Serial Bus Type-C a modern, symmetrical connector). Operating under the USB 3.1 standard, the cable is the ideal solution for directly connecting modern laptops, tablets, and smartphones to larger monitors or projectors.

DISPLAYPORT 1.4

On the other end of the cable is a DisplayPort plug (an advanced digital video and audio interface) in the modern version 1.4 standard. This ensures a very high bandwidth reaching up to 32.4 Gbps.

8K RESOLUTION

Get ready for photorealistic detail. The CL-208 supports image transmission in spectacular 8K resolution (a format offering around 33 million pixels, which guarantees flawless sharpness). To ensure maximum quality and clarity, the cable also supports 3D (three-dimensional image) and HDR technology (High Dynamic Range a wide dynamic range that makes colors more saturated and the contrast between black and white much deeper and more realistic). The cable also performs excellently at 4K resolution (Ultra High Definition) with a 120 Hz refresh rate.

240 HZ REFRESH RATE

For fans of e-sports and dynamic action, smoothness is crucial. This model offers an impressive refresh rate of 240 Hz at FHD resolution (Full High Definition standard 1920×1080 pixels). This means a fluid image without the slightest delay.

FREESYNC & G-SYNC

Forget about stuttering images during intense entertainment. The CL-208 cable is fully compatible with FreeSync (an AMD solution) and G-Sync (an NVIDIA solution) technologies. These are advanced synchronization systems that continuously adjust the monitors refresh rate to the number of frames generated by the graphics card, completely eliminating the irritating phenomenon of screen tearing.

DSC 1.2

Transmitting such high resolutions like 8K at 60 Hz requires proper data management. That is exactly why the cable utilizes DSC version 1.2 (Display Stream Compression) technology. This is a visually lossless video stream compression standard. Thanks to this, the transmission of massive amounts of image data happens smoothly, and the human eye is unable to detect any drop in the quality of the compressed material.
