See patchkaabel on duplex-konfiguratsioonis: ühes kaablis on kaks optilist kiudu, mis võimaldavad samaaegset saatmist ja vastuvõtmist. Ühendustena on kasutusel LC ja SC tüüpi pistikud, mis tagavad laialdase ühilduvuse võrguseadmete ja liitmikega — LC pakub kompaktset välimust ja suuremat portitihedust, SC on robustne ja lihtsasti kasutatav.


Kiud ja jõudlus

Kaabel põhineb OS2 standardil (G.652.D), mis viitab ühemodi kiule optimaalse madala summutuse ja stabiilse edastusega. See teeb kaablist sobiva valiku pikemate vahemaade, telco-, metrovõrkude ja andmekeskuste vaheliste ühenduste jaoks.


Ohutus ja materjalid
