Ehitus ja varjestus

S/FTP (PiMF) konstruktsioon tähendab, et iga andmepaar on individuaalselt metallfooliumiga (Pair in Metal Foil) varjestatud ning kogu kaabeli ümber on täiendav traatvõrgu varjestus (S). See vähendab ristmüra ja väliste elektromagnetiliste allikate mõju, mis aitab säilitada signaali puhtust lühikestel ühendustel.


Jõudlus ja ühilduvus

Kaabel vastab Cat.6 spetsifikatsioonile, mis toetab kuni 250 MHz sagedust ja Gigabit Etherneti kiirusi kuni 1 Gbit/s tavapikkustel. See teeb kaabli sobivaks tavapäraste võrguseadmete, switchide, ruuterite ja patch-paneelide ühendamiseks, kus nõutakse stabiilset ja madala latentsusega ühendust.


Kasutusvõimalused

15 cm pikkus sobib eelkõige lühikeste otseühenduste loomiseks — näiteks patch-paneeli, ruuteri, switchi või seadme tagapaneeli vahel, kus ei ole vaja pikki kaabliradasid. Lühike mõõt aitab hoida tööruumi korras ja vähendab kaabli rippumist või sõlmimist.


Kinnitused ja ühendused

Kaablil on standardsed RJ45 (8P8C) pistikud mõlemal otsal, mis tagavad ühilduvuse laialt kasutatava Ethernet-hardwarega. Tänu varjestusele on see parem valik kohtades, kus esineb palju elektroonilist segamist, näiteks serveriruumides või tihedalt paigutatud seadmete juures.
