Tõhus kaitse häirete eest

S/FTP (varjestatud keerupaar) ehitus tähendab, et kaabli juhtmesooned on ümbritsetud fooliumiga ning kogu kaabel on kaetud täiendava põimitud varjestusega. Selline ülesehitus minimeerib elektromagnetilisi häireid ja signaali ristsiiret (crosstalk), mis on eriti oluline siis, kui võrgukaabel kulgeb paralleelselt toitekaablitega või teiste elektroonikaseadmete läheduses.
