Yongnuo RF-603 II leidžia belaidžiu būdu valdyti kamerą ir įjungti sistemos bei studijos apšvietimą iki 270 m atstumu. Jis turi radijo nuotolinio valdymo funkciją, leidžiančią paleisti kamerą. Jis veikia 2,4 GHz dažniu ir turi galimybę nustatyti net 16 kanalų, o tai garantuoja patikimą įrenginio veikimą bet kokiomis sąlygomis. Naujoje gaiduko versijoje jungiklis buvo perkeltas, todėl naudojimasis tapo dar patogesnis . Be to, jungiklis tapo dviejų pakopų – galima įjungti RF-603 II kaip siųstuvą, arba kaip siųstuvą/imtuvą.
