The Triggertrap Mobile allows you to control your SLR Camera and ultimately take photos therewith via your smartphone. This can be done in various ways through the functions on your smartphone, for example, through voice activation, movement/vibration, sounds, time lapse, Wi-Fi and much more. The following briefly outlines these different options:

  • Cable Release: press the shutter button on the smartphone to enable the SLR to take a picture. This works in 4 ways for example through single shot and slow shutter.
  • Sound Sensor: the camera will take a picture when a loud noise is detected.
  • Time Lapse: the camera takes x amount of photos over an x period of time with x intervals.
  • Time Warp: the same as time lapse but then with the option to accelerate or decelerate the intervals.
  • Distance Lapse: the camera takes pictures every x meters/kilometres, based on its GPS position. This feature is perfect for road trips.
  • Seismic: the camera takes a picture when vibration or shocks are detected.
  • Peekaboo: the camera takes a photo when a face enters the frame.
  • Star Trail: the camera takes a series of photos with an extremely slow shutter speed.
  • LE HDR: the camera takes long exposure HDR sets.
  • LE HDR Time Lapse: the camera takes photos by combining the LE HDR and Time Lapse function.
  • Tesla: the camera takes photos when metal and magnetism is detected.
  • Motion: the camera takes a photo when movement is detected.
  • Bramping: the camera takes time lapsed photos with lighting/exposure corrections.
  • Wi-Fi Slave: the camera takes a picture when signalled to do so by a wireless device.

The Triggertrap is, in many ways, adjustable and adaptable and is suitable for iOS and Android mobile phones and tablets with Apple iOS 5 or Android 2.3 gingerbread. The corresponding apps are available for download from the Appstore/Google Play. The functions available may vary by smartphone, please see the for further details.

This Triggertrap Dongle is version 3, making it the newest model available.

The Triggertrap Mobile can be used in conjunction with the Triggertrap Flash adapter, please see the optional accessories tab below to view this optional addition.

The courier will transport your goods from Photopoint straight to the provided address. The delivery will take place at workdays from 08:00 to 17:00.
