Impressive performance
The RICOH THETA SC is equipped with a processor that enables video recordings of up to 5 minutes, which can be directly converted into a universal video format using a smartphone or tablet. The sensor records with 2x 12 megapixels. The RICOH THETA SC provides the necessary light through the powerful F/2.0 lens.

The camera can be used in many ways
The THETA SC has two lenses and can therefore take pictures in a fully spherical panoramic view at the touch of a button. Photos are taken at up to 14 megapixels and Full HD video at 30 fps with a maximum recording time of 5 minutes each. These 360-degree shots focus on the viewer and show the entire surroundings in a spherical panorama instead of a detail. In it, you can then intuitively move back and forth on the screen with your mouse or finger in all directions as if you were there. With the tablet or smartphone in your hand, the mere rotation around your axis is enough, and with virtual reality glasses, the perspective even changes according to the movement of your head.

Closer to a 360° view

  • With the RICOH THETA App you can choose between "Auto Shooting", "Shutter Speed Priority" and "ISO Priority". You can also set white balance in Shutter Speed Priority and ISO Priority or enable noise reduction.
  • With the Interval recording function, it is possible to record scenes over a longer period of time.
  • You can blur certain parts of your spherical shot to preserve your privacy.
  • An API (Application Programming Interface) and an SDK (Software Development Kit) are available on the website www.theta360.com. This allows experienced users to develop their own apps with individual functions and settings for the RICOH THETA SC and its predecessor.
