Capture the finest details and your most thrilling moments in true 4k (3840 x 2160) video. The FDR-X1000V 25p/24p allows incredibly high resolution, to produce vibrant and extremely realistic images. The Action Cam is capable of shooting in 10 different shooting modes to create a diverse amount of looks to include 240p in high definition and 120p slow motion in FHD. Users can also select 200p in VGA for super slow motion video. Additionally, pro quality XAVC S recording with high bit rate of 100Mbps in 4k and 60Mbps in HD enables the FDR-X1000V to capture quick action with smooth image motion.

SteadyShot™ image stabilization works from bikes to aerial shot and more
SteadyShot® image stabilization with Active Mode compensates for greater degrees of camera shake. SteadyShot™ image stabilization has evolved to compensate for shake in different shooting scenarios to include different vibration frequencies from land sports to aerial shots on drones.

Control up to 5 Action Cam via phone or LiveView™ Remote
Turn compatible smart phones1 and tablets in to remote control viewing devices via Wi-Fi® with One Touch Near Field Communication (NFC). When using LiveView™ Remote RM-LVR2. Now you can frame your shot, change the shooting modes, turn on GPS, and control up to 5 Action Cams with the use of a single LiveView™ Remote or compatible smart phone by simply using the Sony PlayMemories Mobile app (for Android or iOS).

Splash proof body with universal tripod mount
The FDR-X1000V was built with a splash proof body (IPX4-class). Enjoy carefree use of the Action Cam outside of its included housing, even in rainy weather or splash-prone situations. With a universal tripod screw mount on the body of the Action Cam itself, you can easily attach the camera directly to a tripod.

Built-in stereo mic for quality sound with wind noise reduction
