Wiedergabe von FLAC-Dateien
Die Nutzung des "Free Lossless Audio Codec" ermöglicht die Komprimierung von Audio-Files auf etwa die Hälfte der Datenmenge ohne dabei Qualitätsverluste in Kauf nehmen zu müssen. FLAC stellt damit ein ideales Format dar, um Musik auf höchst möglichem Qualitätsniveau zu speichern. Die 2017er Kenwood Autoradios können FLAC Dateien mit einer Sampling-Rate von bis zu 48kHz / 16Bit wiedergeben.

AOA 2.0 Android Music Control
Dank der AOA 2.0 Funktion aktueller Kenwood-Autoradios können kompatible Android-Smartphones ab Android-OS 4.1 zur digitalen Musikübertragung per USB am Autoradio angeschlossen werden. In Kombination mit der kostenlosen "Kenwood Music Play" App können einzelne Titel, Interpreten oder Alben bequem über das Autoradio gesucht und abgespielt werden.

30% geringere Einbautiefe
Durch den Verzicht auf ein integriertes CD-Laufwerk konnte die Einbautiefe der laufwerkslosen "KMM"-Radios um circa 30% auf lediglich 107 Millimeter reduziert werden. Dadurch können diese "Mechaless"-Autoradios auch bei Fahrzeugen mit besonders beengtem Einbauplatz oder für den versteckten Einbau z. B. in Oldtimern eingesetzt werden.
