Przy pomocy interfejsu można zdiagnozować wszystkie systemy znajdujące się w samochodzie, dzięki temu można bardzo szybko wykryć usterkę, oprogramowanie pozwala w bardzo prosty sposób:

Kasować kody usterek (AIR BAG, ABS, IMMOBILIZER, SILNIK, ITD.),

Inspekcje olejowe zarówno ze stałym przedziałem okresowym, jak i ze zmiennym przedziałem okresowym,

Podglądać parametry samochodu podczas jazdy (silnik, ciśnienie doładowania, czasy wtrysków, temperaturę, przepływomierz, wskaźniki, itp.)

Przy odrobinie doświadczenia można także:

Adaptować nowe elementy w samochodzie (kąt wtrysku, przepustnica, regulacja obrotów i zapłonu itd.)

Programować immobilizer

Ponadto w przypadku wybrania już odpowiedniego sterownika np komputera silnika możliwe jest odczytanie kodów błędów, wykasowanie ich, diagnoza elementów wykonawczych typu przepustnice zawory, czujniki. Dynamiczne sprawdzenie zapłonu, dawki rozruchowej, sprawdzenie kondycji silnika na podstawie zużycia poszczególnych cylindrów - czyli różnicy w dawkach paliwa dozowanych przez komputer na poszczególne cylindry, aby silnik równo pracował na biegu jałowym .

Nie musisz z byle problemem iść od razu do autoryzowanej stacji obsługi, oni też posiadają takie urządzenie i też na podstawie jego dokonują napraw. Interfejs powstał jako alternatywa dla oryginalnych urządzeń takich jak VAG 1551 czy VAS. Koszt urządzenia są niewspółmiernie małe w porównaniu ze wspomnianymi a możliwości znacznie większe niż nawet KTS 5xx.
