GODOX LR30Bi Ring Light

The GODOX LR30Bi is a compact LED ring light designed for selfies, vlogs, live streams, video calls, and smartphone video recording. Its soft-light design provides gentle and even facial lighting, minimizing harsh shadows. The ring light offers five color temperature settings ranging from 2800K to 6500K and five brightness levels from 20% to 100%, allowing you to adjust the light to suit the location and nature of your recording. A CRI of approximately 97 and a TLCI of approximately 98 ensure natural color reproduction. The model weighs approximately 83 g, operates for about 75 minutes at full brightness, and is charged via a 5V/2A USB-C port.

Soft and Even Lighting

The LR30Bi is designed to provide soft light suitable for photographing and filming faces. Its ring shape helps evenly illuminate the person in front of the lens, minimizing harsh shadows. This type of lighting is ideal for creating short videos, live streaming, taking selfies, and participating in video conferences. The lamp can also be used as an additional light source when photographing small products. The built-in rechargeable battery provides approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes of runtime with the brightness set to 100%. Battery life may be longer when using lower power levels. A full charge takes about 2 hours and is done via a universal USB-C port. The 5V/2A input allows you to power the lamp using a compatible AC adapter, power bank, or other compatible power source.

Natural Color Rendering

A Color Rendering Index (CRI) of approximately 97 helps preserve the natural appearance of skin, clothing, and photographed subjects. A TLCI rating of approximately 98 is particularly important when recording video, as it helps ensure accurate colors are captured by the camera. As a result, the image looks natural even during recording, which can reduce the need for color correction later on. This is useful both for everyday content posted on social media and for more planned photo shoots.

Five Color Temperature Settings

The lamp offers five color temperature settings: 2800K, 3200K, 4500K, 5600K, and 6500K. Warmer light can be used to create a pleasant atmosphere, while cooler settings work well with daylight. The intermediate values make it easy to adjust the lighting to the conditions in the room. The color temperature is adjusted using the CCT control button. The LR30Bi weighs about 83 g, so you can easily take it with you on a trip, a walk, or an outdoor photo shoot. Its slim design doesn’t take up much space in an accessory bag and makes it easy to store. Its dimensions are approximately 10.1 × 3.7 × 15.9 cm.
