A practical storage room
External hard drives are the latest trend in data transfer and storage. And rightly so, because you can easily transport them wherever you want and connect to other devices in an intuitive and simple way. You do not need to mount them inside the housings or use hardly any convenient disk pockets.
The elegant aluminum housing not only looks good, it also perfectly dissipates heat to the outside. Cooling is additionally supported by a fan controlled by a temperature sensor, which in a very quiet way ensures proper air circulation.
Installation of hard drives in the IB-3640SU3 device takes place quickly and without any tools. Thanks to the modern EasySwap technology, you can quickly replace the disks without switching the device off. We have also not forgotten about the environment - ICY BOX has a sleep mode that minimizes energy consumption to a minimum.
All versions of Windows with XP and Mac OS X are supported. The connection is done selectively using a fast USB 3.0 interface, with a transfer rate of up to 5 Gb per second or via eSATA. Each disk is displayed as a single disk (JBOD = "Just a few drives"

Four to one
The IB-3640SU3 can simultaneously connect four 3.5" hard drives, all of which are connected to a computer via the USB 3.0 interface, meaning you do not need to buy several separate external enclosures to support four hard drives.

Intelligent fan
Thanks to the HotSwap and Plug & Play functions and their advanced features, the hard disk can be replaced or removed at any time. Even while working. In addition, to ensure that hard drives are not in a hot environment, the casing is made of aluminum to dissipate heat from inside the enclosure. An additional advantage is a very quiet fan, which is controlled by a temperature sensor.

For the environment
If the host cable (USB 3.0 or eSATA) is not connected or the device is not used, it automatically goes into sleep mode, so it does not consume energy. In addition, each disk transmits information to the built-in LED for hard drive activity (read/write), fan settings and connection.
