The Icy Dock flexiDOCK MB024SP-B is a four-bay trayless mobile rack that integrates 2.5-inch SAS/SATA drives into the front 5.25-inch bay of computer systems to facilitate drive replacement. It supports four 2.5 inch SAS/SATA hard drives or solid state drives with a height of up to 9.5 mm and uses the SATA III transfer speed of 6 Gbit/s. With a simple, bay-less docking station-style design, installing or removing drives has never been easier. Simply slide in 2.5" hard drives (HDDs) or solid-state drives (SSDs) for quick access to data and safely remove it by manually pulling out the drive. The fan on the MB024SP-B is intentional removed to reduce the high noise levels generated by the fan.It is designed to produce minimal noise interference and is suitable for any environment with low acoustic requirements.With the additional rear space available, the MB024SP-B is shorter in depth and fits into most computer cases where space is limited.More than 100 vents are strategically placed throughout the chassis and motherboard for maximum passive cooling effect.In addition, the honeycomb vents on the front and back of the device perfectly with the computer's fan, quickly dissipate the heat around the drives and ensure that r that the 2.5" drives work at optimal temperatures. The flexiDOCK MB024SP-B features four easy-to-read blue LEDs to indicate drive status - a solid blue LED indicates a drive is installed and has power, a blue blinking LED indicates the drive is currently active.
