Minus Pad Basic sobib ideaalselt emaplaatide pingeregulaatorite (VRM), graafikakaartide mälukiipide (VRAM) ja erinevate teiste kiibistikute jahutamiseks. Kuna materjal ei juhi elektrit, võid olla muretu – ka otsesel kokkupuutel trükkplaadi radadega ei teki ohtlikke lühiseid. Padjad on kergelt kleepuva pinnaga, mis lihtsustab oluliselt nende paigaldamist ja hoiab need kindlalt paigal kuni radiaatori kinnitamiseni.
