MODECOM Volcano HEX 750W Power Supply

The Volcano Hex series of Volcano power supplies is designed based on the ATX 3.1 and PCI Express 5.1 standards, ensuring support for advanced and demanding hardware solutions on the market. The ATX 3.1/PCIe 5.1 standards meet the requirements of the highest-end graphics cards and pose significant challenges for computer power supplies, as they require support for peak loads up to twice the rated power of the power supply. The Volcano Hex is a power supply platform built using the Half-bridge LLC Resonant Converter topology, with a DC-DC circuit for the 3.3V and 5V lines, ensuring stable voltages regardless of the power supply's load.

Computers with powerful graphics cards and processors require a power supply that can handle high power demands. The MODECOM Volcano Hex is built according to ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards, ensuring stable operation even in the most demanding scenarios, such as gaming and advanced programs. It delivers 750 watts, which should easily handle new computer systems.

Certified Efficiency
The Volcano Hex supports input voltages ranging from 100V to 240V and ensures high energy efficiency, meeting the requirements of the 80Plus Gold standard. Certification was granted by Cybenetics, which tests power supplies over a much wider range than the 80Plus standard.

A Quieter and Cooler Computer Thanks to Clever Design
The Volcano Hex power supply is designed to avoid overheating and noise. It features a large, quiet fan (14 cm) that effectively cools the system, and thanks to a special bearing, it operates very quietly even when playing demanding games. Additionally, the use of flat cables and the ability to detach them allow for improved airflow within the case. What does this mean for you?

Strong 12V rail
Modern computer systems require power supplies to deliver the highest possible power, primarily through the 12V rail. Our power supplies are no exception, and the maximum load on this rail corresponds to almost 100% of the rated power that can be delivered to devices using 12V (i.e., the computer's CPU and GPU).

The kit includes cables that you can, but don't have to, connect to the power supply. If you don't have multiple SSDs/HDDs, you can leave some of the power cables in the box and use them only after you buy additional drives. Flat cables and modular cabling provide flexibility and improved airflow.
Volcano Hex power supplies feature fully modular cabling, reducing the amount of cabling inside the computer case. This improves airflow and facilitates neat cable management. The cable harnesses used to connect the power supply are flat, further enhancing the overall appearance of the assembled computer system. Besides convenience and aesthetics, they provide all the connectors required for ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 computer systems, and the diameter of the cables used safely delivers power to the components being powered.
