OWC Thunderbay 8 RAID Ready korpus on loodud vastama kõige nõudlikumate kasutajate vajadustele, pakkudes erakordset jõudlust, töökindlust ja paindlikkust andmete salvestamisel ning haldamisel. See kaheksakettaline (8-bay) välisketasüsteem sobib suurepäraselt nii professionaalsetele videomontaažijatele, fotograafidele kui ka IT-spetsialistidele, kes vajavad suurt salvestusmahtu ja kiiret andmeedastust. OWC Thunderbay 8 on ideaalne lahendus nii tööjaamadele kui ka väiksematele serverirakendustele, kus on oluline andmete turvalisus ja kiire ligipääs.

Korpuse tugev ja vastupidav metallist konstruktsioon tagab pika eluea ning kaitseb teie andmeid füüsiliste kahjustuste eest. Tänu Thunderbolt 3 liidesele on võimalik saavutada kuni 40 Gb/s andmeedastuskiirusi, mis võimaldab kiiret failiedastust ning sujuvat tööd ka kõige suuremate failidega. Seade toetab erinevaid RAID tasemeid (RAID 0, 1, 4, 5, 6, 10, JBOD), võimaldades kasutajal valida sobivaima andmekaitse ja jõudluse kombinatsiooni vastavalt vajadusele.

OWC Thunderbay 8 on RAID Ready ehk eelhäälestatud, võimaldades kiiret ja lihtsat seadistamist. Korpusesse saab paigaldada kuni kaheksa 3,5-tollist või 2,5-tollist SATA kõvaketast või SSD-d, pakkudes maksimaalset salvestusmahtu kuni 144 TB (olenevalt paigaldatud ketastest). Tänu ventileeritud disainile ja vaiksele jahutussüsteemile püsivad kettad töökindlatena ka intensiivse kasutuse korral.

Lisaks on seadmel kaks Thunderbolt 3 porti, mis võimaldavad kettakettide aheldamist (daisy chain) ja mitme seadme ühendamist üheainsa arvuti külge. See teeb OWC Thunderbay 8-st tõeliselt paindliku ja tulevikukindla lahenduse igale professionaalile, kes hindab töökindlust, kiirust ja suurt salvestusmahtu.
