Tänu võimalusele paigaldada kuus 2,5-tollist U.2/U.3 NVMe SSD-d ühte 5,25-tollisesse pesasse, saad luua ülitõhusa salvestussüsteemi ilma suurt arvutikorpust vajamata. Seade toetab täielikult PCIe 4.0 standardit, pakkudes kuni 64 Gbps ribalaiust kanali kohta, mis välistab andmeedastuse pudelikaelad.

Kuna NVMe SSD-d võivad intensiivsel koormusel kuumeneda, on MB118VP-B varustatud kahe võimsa 40 mm ventilaatoriga, mille kiirust saab vastavalt vajadusele reguleerida või ventilaatorid täielikult välja lülitada. Kuumvahetuse (Hot-Swap) tugi ja mugavad väljavõetavad sahtlid tagavad, et ketta rikke või vahetuse korral on protsess kiire ja lihtne, ilma et peaksid kogu süsteemi välja lülitama.
