M2 avab uue peatüki Apple’i kiipide seas. Selles on arendatud ja täiustatud nii M1-kiibi kiirust kui ka energiatõhusust. Seega saad võimsa 8-tuumalise protsessoriga kõik tehtud kiiremini. 10-tuumalise graafika­protsessoriga saad luua köitvaid pilte ja animatsioone. Tippjõudlusega meediamootor laseb sul töötada suurema arvu 4K ja 8K ProRes-videovoogudega. Ja 18 tundi kestva akuga saad töötada ja mängida kogu päeva kuni öötundideni.

Vapustav 13,6-tolline Liquid Retina ekraan on siiani MacBook Airi suurim ja teravaim, miljardi värvi toega. Tekst on ülikirgas ja fotod ning filmid veelgi säravamad ja erksamad, suure kontrastsuse ja selgete detailidega.

Mugaval ja vaiksel Magic Keyboardil on nüüd täiskõrguses funktsiooniklahvide rida kiireks juurdepääsuks lemmikjuhtelementidele ja otseteedele. Touch ID muudab hõlpsaks Maci avamise, parooli sisestamise ja turvalise ostude ja maksete tegemise. See käib vaid ühe sõrmepuutega. Ja suurema Force Touch puuteplaadiga saab veelgi täpsemalt töötada.

Kiiresti eemaldatava MagSafe’i toiteühenduse saab hõlpsalt kinnitada ja lahutada magnetitega. See hoiab ära kõik soovimatud kukkumised. Kaks Thunderbolt-liidest annavad ühenduse ja toite kiiretele tarvikutele. Nüüd saab ühenduse luua ka kuni 6K ekraaniga. Ja kõrvaklapipesa ühildub isegi suure takistusega klappidega.
