Switching effortlessly between 48 resistance levels The C65 Crosstrainer is equipped with a maintenance-free magnetic brake with servo motor. The magnetic attraction force exerted on the flywheel determines the resistance level. The resistance level is thus controlled automatically. With a turn of the monitor's button you set the servo motor in motion, after which it switches smoothly to the correct resistance level.
Always a good overview of progress On the C65's Bluetooth AI Monitor, you can see all parameters at a glance, including distance, time and wattage. Even if you put a tablet in the holder, you still have a view of the four most important parameters. The monitor displays the heart rate zones in different colours, so you can quickly see in which zone you are training and adjust your workout if necessary. By hand, you effortlessly tilt the monitor to the correct position so that you always have a good and clear view of the screen, regardless of the viewing angle or amount of light. The monitor has a tablet holder. With the tablet in the holder, you can still see the four main parameters on the monitor, on either side of the table
Train with apps and AI Want more variety in your workout environment? Then pair a video route app like Tunturi Routes or Zwift with the C65 using Bluetooth. With the free version of Tunturi Routes you have access to 15 video routes and with the paid version you can use hundreds of routes. In addition, you can train or race with other app users. If you pair Zwift with the trainer, the speed of the video adjusts to the pace at which you work out. If you link the iConsole app to the C65, AI will create a personal training program for you based on achieved training results.
Comfortable stride length of 50 cm The stride length is the full distance you make with each movement, front to back. If a trainer has a smaller stride length, then it feels like you are running with short strides. With a larger stride length, you are moving more toward a running motion. The most comfortable stride length depends on your height. The taller you are, the larger steps you take and thus the greater the stride length that is most comfortable for you. The C65 has a comfortable stride length of 50 centimeters, optimal for anyone between 1.60 and 2.00 meters.
Less stressful on knees and joints The C65 is a front-driven cross trainer, where the flywheel with the drive unit is on the front of the trainer. With a front-driven trainer, you make a flatter circular motion, which can be compared to cross-country skiing. Because the flywheel housing is not in the way, you always make a straight motion when training. This is in contrast to a rear-driven trainer, where you make a more elliptical motion. A front-driven trainer, like the C65, is less stressful on your knees and joints, and therefore ideal for rehabilitation or injuries.
Optimal number of training options The C65 trainer has both fixed and moving handles. The fixed handles are smaller, are closer together and feature integrated heart rate sensors. During heart rate-controlled training, this allows you to fully focus on the lower body. For the most accurate heart rate measurement, we always recommend a chest belt. With the moving handles, you also include the upper body in the workout because you are moving the arm and shoulder muscles.
Train at the level that suits you most The C65 has 48 levels of resistance. This means there is always a resistance level that best suits your training needs there and then. You can also choose from 26 programs: 12 pre-programd training profiles, 4 heart rate controlled programs, a program by time, one by wattage and one by calories, a program by speed and a BMI and fat measurement. In addition, you can set 4 user programs, choose a manual mode and start a recovery program with fitness test. This measures at the end of your workout the rate at which your heart rate drops. The score shows how good your fitness level is.
