In Dr. Kawashima's brain jogging for Nintendo Switch, you'll challenge your brain with a variety of tasks! Try out new exercises that use the IR motion camera, or train your grey cells with familiar exercises from previous brain jogging games. You can play these either with your finger or with the stylus included in the physical version of the game.1

Diverse challenges
Put your brain to the test in a series of exercises and tests. Different ways of playing are used: In some exercises you hold the Nintendo Switch console vertically and use your finger or stylus, in others the IR motion camera is used to recognize your fingers. Here are some of the exercises that await you in the game:

  • Finger arithmetic: Solve math problems with your fingers. Here, your ability to react is required, even if you know the answer.
  • Form word: Here you combine letters to words.
  • Rock-Paper-Scissors: Use your fingers to win - or lose - in "Rock-Paper-Scissors" rounds!
  • Photographic memory: The aim of this exercise is to remind you of the photo shown above.
  • Double challenge: Touch the highest number and jump over the hurdles.

Collaboration training
In some exercises you can also compete against your friends and family with one Joy-Con each. Here are a few examples:

  • Birds count: Who counts the birds fastest?
  • Counting boxes: Here you have to memorize the number of crates.

How old is your brain?
You can determine your current mental age by completing a series of exercises one after the other. Your information intake, short-term memory and self-control will be put to the test. You can then compare your result with that of your family and friends! To make sure you don't miss your daily brain training, you can set up an alarm. Your Nintendo Switch console will remind you even when it's in standby mode!

You can also send your results as brain jogging emails to your family to keep them up to date.2

 

1 A Joy Controller Set is required to play certain exercises on Nintendo Switch Lite. It is also recommended to use the adjustable Nintendo Switch Charger Stand. In addition, a device for charging the Joy-Controller like the Joy-Con charger holder is required. More information is available on the Nintendo Switch Lite website.
