Compatibility

Compatible with engines featuring OHV (Overhead Valve), OHC (Overhead Camshaft), and CHV (Compound Valve) configurations. This tool is not compatible with DOHC (Double Overhead Camshaft) engines or engines with restricted access to the valve spring area without additional disassembly.

How to Use

1. Ensure the engine is cool and the cylinder head is removed from the vehicle for safe access.
2. Position the compressor jaws over the valve spring retainer, ensuring a firm grip on the spring coils.
3. Squeeze the handles together to compress the spring, exposing the valve keepers.
4. Remove the valve keepers using a magnetic pick-up tool or needle-nose pliers.
5. Slowly release the handle pressure to decompress the spring, then remove the retainer and spring from the valve stem.
