Zintegrowany wzmacniacz PMA-520AE został wyposażony w nowe i zaawansowane obwody elektroniczne High-Current Single-Push-Pull dla osiągnięcia zarówno właściwego poziomu mocy, jak i odwzorowania detali w odtwarzanej muzyce, co jest zawsze celem Denona przy konstrukcji wzmacniaczy. Przekaźnik użyty przy wejściu CD i Phono zawiera w swojej konstrukcji gaz obojętny, aby zapobiec występowaniu szumów, które mogą negatywnie wpływać na sygnał.
