Nowy streamer od AURALiC to coś więcej niż funkcjonalny gadżet. ARIES MINI to przede wszystkim szybki bezprzewodowy streaming, pozwalający przesyłać muzykę przechowywaną na dysku sieciowym, dysku USB albo pamięci wewnętrznej urządzenia, obsługując przy tym formaty plików znane tylko zagorzałym audiofilom. ARIES MINI to także dobre rozwiązanie dla zwolenników serwisów streamingowych, nawet tych oferujących muzykę w bezstratnej jakości (TIDAL, Qobuz czy WiMP).

W przypadku ARIES MINI warto wspomnieć również o oprogramowaniu AURALiC Lightning DS, które jest dostępne na system iOS (W planach jest aplikacja WEB na wszystkie platformy systemowe: iOS, Android, Windows Mobile, Linux itp. Do bezprzewodowego odtwarzania muzyki ARIES MINI wykorzystuje technologię Lightning Streaming, a gniazdo pamięci masowej pozwala obsługiwać zarówno 2,5 calowe dyski, jak i dyski SSD, które mogą być wykorzystywane do przechowywania prywatnej biblioteki muzycznej.

Nowy streamer wyposażony jest w czterordzeniowy procesor ARM Coretex-A9 z taktowaniem 1GHz, 512MB wbudowanej pamięci RAM DDR3 oraz 4GB pamięci wewnętrznej, a zastosowana technologia AURALiC Tesla pozwala odczytywać bardzo szeroki wachlarz formatów audio. Atutem ARIES MINI są również skromne wymiary (13,5×13,5×2,8cm), jak na możliwości które oferuje, a także niewielka waga – raptem 800 gram.
