The optimum humidity recommended by medical specialists in enclosed spaces is between 40 and 60% relative humidity.<br><br>If the air in indoor spaces is too humid, air quality can be severely adversely affected by mould spores, allergens and respiratory problems.<br><br>With a dehumidification capacity of 700 ml per day (at 30°C and 80% relative humidity), the CA-703W electronic dehumidifier with ioniser, UV lamp and photocatalytic filter for air purification is suitable for indoor spaces up to 10m²/25m³. A number of Peltier units connected in series can be practically applied as a cooling (or heating) element and cause moisture to condense. This replicates heat pump operation without moving parts or fluids. The Clean Air Optima® CA-703W dehumidifier is very low-maintenance and vibration-free as a result, due to the absence of a compressor!<br><br><b>Allergy prevention and reduction</b><br>The Clean Air Optima CA-703 electronic dehumidifier reduces the relative humidity in indoor spaces. Dust mites, other vermin and mould spores thrive best in a humid environment. The main triggers of allergy symptoms are dust mites and mould. Combined with the powerful air purification provided by the CA-703W triple filter technology, using this unique unit has a direct impact on preventing and reducing allergies.<br><br><b>Large water tank and permanent water drainage</b><br><br>The unit switches off automatically once the water tank is full with an LED indication in the display. The CA-703W dehumidifier's large water tank has a capacity of 2 litres.<br><br>Condensation collected in the water tank can also be discharged directly by connecting the drain hose included in the supply.
