Thanks to the multifunctional display of the WS40BK weather station, you can control readings from four temperature and humidity sensors at the same time. One sensor is built into the weather station, the other three can be placed anywhere outside, in the bedroom or in the garage. Thanks to the LCD displays in the sensors, you can also read the data while being close to them.

Thermometer and hygrometer always at hand!

The Blaupunkt WS40BK weather station has a built-in sensor for measuring temperature and humidity inside the room in which it is installed. Three additional wireless sensors with LCD displays included in the set can perform measurements outdoors or in any selected location. Data regarding both temperature and humidity measurements are constantly updated and displayed on the LCD display built into the weather station*. Additionally, the device has a memory for measuring the lowest and highest values of both temperature and humidity, which reset automatically at the beginning of the next day. Temperature values can be displayed in either degrees Celsius or degrees Farenheit.

Get to know the trends in your environment, including weather trends.

In addition to reading temperature and humidity, trend indicators for these parameters are available. The arrows appearing on the screen indicate how the measured values have changed over the last hour. An up arrow means that a given parameter has increased its value, a down arrow indicates a decrease in the value of a given parameter, and a horizontal arrow means that a given value has not changed.

The display of the WS40BK weather station also provides a graphical weather forecast for the next 12-24 hours. Please remember that this forecast is calculated based on atmospheric pressure fluctuations and has limited accuracy, but it is a useful tool for estimating weather conditions for the next few hours in a specific place. Depending on the prevailing conditions, pictograms are available predicting sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rainy or snowy weather.

The blood pressure is dropping, time for a cup of coffee!

The WS40BK weather station has a built-in sensor for measuring absolute atmospheric pressure, and the reading data appears on the display. If you feel a sudden drop in energy or you are a meteorologist, just look at the display and if your blood pressure is low, it's a sign that you need to prepare a cup of coffee. Please note that this weather station reads absolute atmospheric pressure, which may differ from official weather forecasts. The reason for this difference is that the relative pressure given in official weather forecasts is reduced to sea level. The absolute pressure indicated in this model is the pressure measured at a given location at the appropriate height.

Turn up the parameters!

The WS40BK weather station has been carefully calibrated in our production plant, and the weather forecast will calibrate automatically during the first two weeks of use. However, if you want to manually adjust it, you can do so during the initial setup.

What time is it, what day is it?

There is also a clock on the LCD screen that can display the current time in both 12- and 24-hour formats. Thanks to this, the station also functions as a useful watch. Next to the clock, there is also a calendar that will inform you what day of the month it is and what day of the week it is. The names of the days of the week are available in seven languages (DE, EN, FR, IT, SP, DU and DA) and can be changed when setting the calendar.

Hello! Incentive!

The WS40BK weather station also has an alarm function, so if you need to get up earlier, simply set the time you want the alarm to go off and sleep soundly. The alarm will go off automatically, and if you want to sleep a little longer, turn on the snooze function and the alarm will go off again in 5 minutes. The alarm is triggered by a sound signal that lasts for 2 minutes, long enough to wake up even the heaviest sleepyhead. You can also use the alarm not only to wake up, but also as a reminder of some important events during the day that you don't want to miss.

LCD display! Are you going dark? Of course I'm missing the point.

The display of the WS40BK weather station has a dimming function and no, it does not cheat, it only changesbrightness of the backlight and, importantly, it does not do it alone. You decide when to dim the display to make it less distracting or more visible. Additionally, it has the function of automatically programming when the display should darken and brighten. You simply set the time you usually go to bed and get up, and the display will dim and brighten accordingly so as not to disturb your sleep. Isn't it useful?

Power supply.

You can connect the WS40BK weather station to the socket using the supplied 5 V 1200 mA power supply, and the wireless outdoor sensors each with two AA batteries, which are included in the set, a total of 6 pieces. In order for the station to remember the settings during a power outage, you need to buy 3 batteries. AA and install them in the compartment located on the back wall of the housing! The station can operate without these batteries, but after a power outage you will have to make the appropriate settings again. These optional batteries can also serve as an alternative power source if you take the station to a plot where you do not have access to electricity. When running on battery power, the display will automatically turn off to save battery power. Additionally, the LCD screen provides battery level indicators for all external sensors, so you know when the batteries are low and can replace them in time.

The WS40BK weather station has an indicator of the current moon phases. If you are an adult astrologer or you believe that the phases of the moon affect the quality of your sleep or your emotional life, this function will be very useful to you. One look at the display and you'll know whether today is a new or full moon!

The WS40BK model is unique in that the readings from all four sensors are available simultaneously on one screen. You can see exactly what the readings from individual sensors are. It's very convenient. Moreover, the color LCD display is very clear and extremely readable.

Put up or hang?

Do what suits you best. The station casing has been designed in such a way that the entire device can be placed on a table, desk or windowsill, as well as hung on the wall, because there is a hole for a hook in the back of the station, and the power cable is routed in a special channel that does not make such installation difficult. The included wireless sensor can also be placed or hung. Remember to place the sensor in a place protected from wind and rain and in the shade, without direct sunlight, which may adversely affect the reading of temperature and humidity values.
