It's designed to be compatible with other glass as well, giving you even more versatility when shooting! NOTE: the ADAPTER DOES NOT TRANSFER INFORMATION FROM THE LENS TO THE CAPTURE. SETTING the focus and aperture MUST be done manually, using the lens rings. Convenient installation Understanding how important it is for photographers to set up their equipment easily and quickly, Venus Optics Laowa designers decided to integrate a special mounting shoe into the lens.
